US Air Force veteran S. Brian Willson paid a big price for peace—losing both legs below the knee and nearly being killed on September 1, 1987, during a nonviolent train blocking action to stop shipments of munitions to Central America. It was his wartime experience in Viet Nam that set him on the path leading to that fateful day.

Paying the Price for Peace exposes the truth about the United States’ addiction to war, and the lies it perpetuates in order to wage ongoing violence, by telling this powerful story and sharing the wisdom of S. Brian Willson and other peace activists.

Paying the Price for Peace features interviews with: Alice Walker, Daniel Ellsberg, Medea Benjamin, David Swanson, Ron Kovic, Bruce Gagnon, Cindy Sheehan, Martin Sheen, Blase Bonpane, Camilo Mejia, Phil Donahue, and others.
