Sir! No Sir! seems almost light in comparison, joyous and celebratory, though it also has tear-jerking moments, my favorite being the Rita Martinson solo, “Soldier, we love you…” I felt pumped up at film’s end, and found it the perfect match for talking about the FULL DISCLOSURE campaign because there are several references near the end to the government’s or society’s attempt to rewrite the history of the Vietnam war, to create myths to counter the true story. Viewers will feel high after watching this one.
