Project: “PSU’s Vets Resource Ctr is sponsoring VETERANS VOICES 2015.

An evening of True Stories from PSU’s Veteran Community Veterans Voices & Combat Paper

Participants of Veterans Voices meet for five narrative workshops where they will tell stories and be coached to develop them into the final product – a stage performance on April 22, 2015. On the day of the final workshop, the participants will join Drew Cameron, founder of Combat Paper, to break down and pulp their old service uniforms into usable paper. The participants will then be free to use this paper as a new medium to tell their stories.

Participation in the narrative workshops and Combat Paper project is limited to 5 or 6 Veterans (so sign up now!).

The performance on April 22nd will be open to all students, faculty, staff and community members. Some of the art will be permanently displayed at PSU’s Veterans Resource Center. I’m thinking some Vets for Peace energy would be great to have in the mix.For more info
